The little treasures (Volume 20)

Perhaps you will recall that, earlier this year, we brought you some pictures and captions sent to us (and never previously used) YEARS AGO, when Bulletin Board was a daily feature of the Pioneer Press.

Here are a few more — with others yet to come:

Contributor: Steven Mund of the East Side of St. Paul

Dates of pictures: 1950s

Date of contribution: Unknown

Caption: “The place: the Emporium. The date: 1955. My first record with Santa, and pictures to go along. [Bulletin Board notes: pictures from several years, apparently.] Check out the cowboy outfits and all the fun at Christmas. Ahhh . . . the 1950s were a great time, and Christmas was a blast.

“Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
